Humor and Healing: How Laughter Can Improve Our Health

We have within ourselves incredible means of letting out our inner healing ability. One of the most powerful of these is the universal language of laughter.

Laughter is good for the respiratory system, the cardiovascular system, the muscular system, the central nervous system, the endocrine system, and the immune system. Laughter makes the brain and body release endorphins, the body’s natural painkiller and mood enhancers. Laughter can also make you healthier. Numerous studies indicate that a good laugh a day is even better than an apple a day.

It's no wonder that some people say laughter is the best medicine. Learn more about how laughter can improve your health in this week's newsletter.
